iPod. Student ad for iPods done in the style of Russian Constructivism. Assignment was to choose an historical style and create an ad for something that wasn't invented when the style was prevalent. Using the red background and the 45º angles to suggest the style, I chose fonts that looked similar to those used in Russian Constructivist art. The iPod in the background was added, not to imitate the style, but to state in large letters what the ad was for, in addition to showing a basic drawing of the device. Even the Appe logo is in the Russian Constructivist style. The price is in rubles.
